Webarchitects is an ethically based multi-stakeholder Internet services co-operative that clients, partners and investors can join and participate in.
Webarchitects run all the usual hosting services like shared web servers, virtual machines and co-location. However, despite the name, Webarchitects do a lot more than just design web-based services. Webarchitects provide everything necessary for their customers' Internet operations. The organization designs, builds and operates Internet infrastructure in Sheffield.
Since 1998 we have been developing, maintaining and hosting servers and websites, coding and customising content management systems and other FLOSS web applications running on GNU/Linux servers. In 2011 we re-established ourselves as Webarch Co-operative Limited. In 2013 we merged with another ethical hosting co-operative, Ecohost, and we maintain this brand name. There is more on our history on our 20th anniversary page.
Webarchitects works co-operatively with many people. If you would like to be a co-operative partner, please join us.
